2/7, Varsity basketball travels to Bronaugh tonight. Games start at 5:30pm. Bus departs at 3:00pm.

Chilhowee families, the town of Chilhowee lost water this afternoon. The city has communicated that water has been restored, but water pressure may be low and a boil order is in effect until Saturday evening. With this news, Chilhowee school will not be in session tomorrow (Friday, February 7th). This will be an AMI day. Students will need to complete AMI assignments for Day 2. These assignments will be due upon returning to school. All students should have their AMI folders at home to complete this work. If your child's AMI packet has gone missing, the principal's office (main office) will be open from 8:30am to 1pm for families to pick up AMI packets. All Dual Credit students will need to log on to SFCC and complete their work as needed. At this time, Warrensburg WACC students and Maple Grove students will be transported as normal. The basketball games at Bronough are still scheduled as planned. The bus leaves at 3:00 pm. Enjoy your long weekend and please be safe.

Tonight's Varsity Basketball at home will be a Boys only night. Drexel vs Chilhowee, 6:00PM tipoff. Good luck Indians!

The PTO Meeting for tonight is cancelled.

Chilhowee Schools: Due to deteriorating road conditions (ice on surfaces) there will be no school on Wednesday, February 5th. This is a snow day so do not do any AMI work. There will be no WACC and we are not transporting to Warrensburg as they are also closed.

Chiefs Spirit Week! Let's go!!!!

Last night was absolutely *electric*—Courtwarming after the boys’ varsity game was the event of the year! Our princes and princesses were *stunning*, all glammed up in their beautiful dresses and nice attire. The excitement reached an ultimate high as our adorable little pages, Levi Moon and RaeLea Gregory, marched out to present the crowns to the lucky winners. After an intense buildup, the moment we’d all been waiting for finally arrived! And the crowns went to... *drumroll please*... the incredible Hudson Jennings and Bailey Coulter as this year’s Prince and Princess, and the crowned royalty of the night, Hunter Wharton and Kaydee Lankford as the 2024-2025 King and Queen!! What a night to remember! 👑✨

The game and all activities are on for Courtwarming tonight. We will have the game like normal, starting at 5:30 pm, and the dance is still on. We will see everyone tonight!

1/31, Varsity Basketball and Court Warming tonight at Chilhowee! Sheldon Panthers vs Chilhowee Indians. Games start at 5:30pm. Let's rock our house and defend our court! Go Indians!

The Chilhowee R-IV School District is thrilled to announce our partnership with the Pediatric Place Family First Initiative! Together, we're committed to supporting our students and families by providing the resources they need to thrive at school and in life. We invite families to complete a brief survey to help us identify key resources and address potential barriers. This will allow us and Pediatric Place to understand our community's needs better and tailor our efforts to provide meaningful support. A few important notes about the survey: It is completely confidential. Only the Chilhowee R-IV School District and The Pediatric Place Family First Initiative will have access to the results. The information gathered will only be used to help families get the assistance they need. Last Monday, our teachers spent the morning learning how they keep students engaged and how we can ensure we, as staff, are practicing self care. Thank you to Mrs. Murphy, Mrs. Thornley, and Mrs. Dillon for leading our inservice. It was a great day!
