2025-2026 Testing Program and Calendar

THE FOLLOWING ASSESSMENTS ARE STATE-MANDATED ASSESSMENTS:

MAP - The Missouri Assessment Program assesses students’ progress toward mastery of the Show-Me Standards, the educational standards in Missouri. The Grade-Level Assessment is a yearly standards-based test that measures specific skills defined for each grade by the state of Missouri. All students in grades 3-8 in Missouri will take the grade-level assessment. English Language Arts and Mathematics are administered in all grades. Science is administered in grades 5 and 8. The MAP is administered during April and May. Results for individual students are available to parents in the fall. District assessment results are available to the general public at dese.mo.gov.

EOC - The Missouri Assessment Program assesses students' progress toward the Missouri Learning Standards, Missouri's content standards. End-of-course assessments are taken when a student has received instruction on the Missouri Learning Standards for an assessment, regardless of grade level. All EOC assessments are available only online unless a student's IEP indicates that a Braille, Large Print, or Paper/Pencil form is needed. Missouri's available End-of-Course assessments include English II, Algebra I, Government, and Biology. Results for individual students are available to parents in the fall. District assessment results are available to the general public at dese.mo.gov.

ADDITIONAL ASSESSMENTS:

ACT—The ACT® test is the nation’s most popular college entrance exam, accepted and valued by all universities and colleges in the United States. It is based on what students learn in high school and provides personalized information about their strengths for education and career planning. The ACT is generally given to juniors.

ASVAB—The ASVAB is a multiple-aptitude battery that measures developed abilities and helps predict future academic and occupational success in the military. It is administered annually to more than one million military applicants, high school students, and post-secondary students. The ASVAB is generally given to sophomores.
