Tonight's (May 3rd) Chilhowee Parent Teacher Organization meeting will now be held at 5:30 p.m. in the learning commons. This is our final planning meeting for the school carnival. If anyone is willing to volunteer at the carnival this Saturday, May 6th we would love to have you at our meeting tonight to make a plan.

Chilhowee brought home honors at the JH Championship track meet at Bolivar! Congratulations to Holden Dean on earning the SILVER for the High Jump! Job well done!


NJHS/NHS reminder: The $15 membership dues are due this week to Mrs. Powell for the 2023 National Honor Society membership.

All 3rd - 11th Grade Students will begin MAP/EOC testing tomorrow, Tuesday, May 2nd - Friday, May 12th. Makeup testing will be done as soon as possible when students are absent. Please ensure all students are here by 7:50 a.m. so we can start testing promptly.

It was a privilege to see our FFA Chapter in action tonight at their annual FFA banquet. The chapter has accomplished a lot of great things this year under the advisement of chapter advisor, Taryn Thornley.

Summer school forms were sent out last week with your student. Please have all forms turned in by Wednesday 4/26! If you need another form reach out to your child’s teacher or the front office! Summer School is for students entering Kindergarten-Sixth grade. in the 2023-2024 school year.

Chilhowee R-IV would like to thank the Johnson County Sheriff's Office, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Johnson County Fire Protection District (Chilhowee Station), Johnson County Ambulance District, Life Flight Eagle, the Johnson County Coroner's Office, and Dawn Keenan for hosting our mock accident today at the school. They put this on yearly for us the day before prom to educate our 9th-12th grade students about the tragedy of car crashes and to reinforce the importance of seat belts, no cell phones while driving, and what happens when people drive intoxicated.
