Class Supply List 2021-2022
Just a Reminder!
Varsity Fall Sports officially starts August 9th and Junior High Fall Sports starts on August 16th. All students planning to participate must have a valid sports physical on file prior to the first practice to be eligible. This includes our Football Co-Op with Crest Ridge. Please funnel complete physicals and Annual MSHSAA Pre-Participation packets to the school prior to the season start dates.
7th and 8th Grade Girls interested in playing Junior High Volleyball please plan to attend practice on August 16th from 3:45-5:00 p.m. Practice will be the same for August 17th and 18th. A practice schedule and game schedule will be handed out at the first practice.
The Chilhowee R-IV School District is pleased to announce Mrs. Sami Lankford as our new K-12th grade Administrative Assistant/Secretary. Mrs. Lankford is an alumnus of our school and is so excited to begin working in our district. Everyone who calls or comes to visit us will have the pleasure of interacting with her. The Chilhowee R-IV School District is pleased to welcome our new K-12th grade P.E. teacher and Varsity Boys' Basketball coach, Mr. Chad Grammer, to our school. Mr. Grammer has already met students through teaching summer school and hosting basketball camps this summer. He is looking forward to meeting everyone and is so excited to be here at Chilhowee. Chilhowee Early Childhood Center is now enrolling children living within the Chilhowee School District. Your child must be either 4 years old before August 1st, 2021, or 5 years old after August 1st, 2021. You may turn any registration form into the superintendent's office this week or the main office beginning August 2nd. Please click on the link below to register your child for preschool.

The Chilhowee R-IV School District is pleased to welcome Mrs. Taryn Thornley, our new Agriculture teacher, and FFA Chapter Leader, to our school. She will also be taking over the Science Club for all K-12th graders. Mrs. Thornley is well-known in the community as she is a member of the Chilhowee Baptist Church, where she teaches Sunday School and helps lead the Youth Group. Little Indian Basketball Camp is Wednesday from 5:30-7:00pm. Grades 2-6 are invited to come learn the game of basketball and fundamentals. Cost is $15 per participant and will earn a camp T-shirt. Varsity coaches and players will lead the camp. Gym cloths and gym shoes are required.
Reminder, JH boys basketball, grades 6-8, is holding a camp for the 2021-2022 season through Wednesday from 2:30-4:00pm. All boys interested in basketball should attend if possible.

Mr. Liddle will be the 4th-grade students' homeroom teacher and will also teach Social Studies and Science to 4th - 6th graders. He is originally from Nashville, TN. Little Indian's Basketball Camp (Grades 2-6) is scheduled for July 21st, 5:30pm - 7:00pm at the Chilhowee Gym. The camp is open to all boys and girls interested in basketball. See attached pamphlet for details and sign up information.
