
Summer School is set to begin Monday! As a reminder all students ages 18 and younger, whether they attend summer school or not, are eligible for FREE breakfast and lunch. Breakfast will be served from 7:30-8:00 and lunch will be served from 11:30-12:00 Monday through Friday.

Friday, May 17, 2024, the Chilhowee R-IV School held its high school graduation. We are so proud of the young men and women who graduated and cannot wait to see what they do in the future. Congratulations to the graduates and their families.

Today we had elementary awards day. It was so fun hearing about each student and their special award. What a way to end the 2023-2024 school year. Have a great summer!

Eighth grade graduation was held on May 16, 2024. We are so proud of these students and cannot wait to see what they will be able to accomplish in their high school years. Congratulations to all the eighth graders and their families.

Congratulations to the following students for being selected as April's Artist of the Month! These students were recognized and nominated by all teachers/staff based on the creativity, craftsmanship, and hard work they displayed in their artwork. Fantastic job, Ensley, Jasmine, and Ryleigh!

Tonight we celebrated our Preschool Promotion. Congratulations to all students. Moving on to Kindergarten is Johnny Webster, Josiah Murphy, and Levi Moon.











Today was our Seniors last day. We had an all school clap out today to celebrate them.








Today Preschool through 6th grade attended a bike safety presentation given by Dawn Keenan. Everyone did a great job and listened to all the important safety tips Ms. Keenan gave out. Ms. Keenan also presented a new bike and helmet for both a girl and a boy. Maya Musyoki won the girl's bike and Gabe Atkinson won the boy's bike. Congratulations!

Today's spotlight senior is Rowdee Reynolds. Congratulations on your graduation, Rowdee! We wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors.

7th through 12th grade students visited the Truman Library/Museum in Independence, Missouri, today. They took a guided tour and received many compliments on their behavior, respectfulness, and positive demeanor. It was a great day for all students and teachers!

Track and Field will host their award banquet tonight in the school cafeteria at 6:00pm.

Our BOGO Book Fair will be set up tomorrow, May 15th, during the school day. Students can shop on Thursday during the day, starting around 10:00 a.m. through 3:45 p.m. Then, it will be open again from 5:00 p.m. through the end of the 8th-grade promotion ceremony. It will also be open on Friday from 7:50-1:30 p.m. Come and get your books for the summer!
