Our SRD, Deputy Medina is amazing! He not only helps keep our school safe, but he builds positive relationships and helps students with their work. We LOVE having Deputy Medina at our school and our students love working with him.
Preschoolers are having so much fun learning about the color white by "brushing teeth" and learning to use scissors by "cutting hair".
JH Basketball practices start in 2-3 weeks. Sports Physicals are required before the first practice for all interested 6th-8th grade players. Both Sports Physical (By Physician) and Annual MSHSAA Preparticipation forms are required to complete a valid physical. Four pages total.
Chilhowee Parent Teacher Organization is holding their first meeting of the year in the library tomorrow evening, September 3rd, at 5:30 p.m. Come hear their plans for the year and help with ideas for a great year for our students.

On Monday, August 25, we had our Title 1 Open House Game Night. After a brief meeting, parents, students and teachers indulged in a popcorn snack and fun games.

If your Senior is ordering Graduation Announcements or your Sophomore is ordering a Class Ring, all orders must be submitted by Friday, September 5th, at 8:30 am along with an $80 deposit.
Jostens will be at the school tomorrow, Friday, August 29th, at 8:30 a.m. to meet with Seniors to order Graduation Announcements and to discuss class rings with sophomores. Seniors will go first at 8:30 am.

Did you know our school partners with Country Crossroads Counseling to provide services right here in the building? If your student could benefit from outside counseling but scheduling around school or work has been a challenge, this may be the perfect solution. If your student took advantage of this wonderful opportunity last year, you will need to do a new intake form in order to continue. Check out the image below for details!
