FFA members brought their animals to school on Thursday, September 21st. PreK through 6th grade students enjoyed attending the petting zoo where they learned about the animals, got to pet them, and ask whatever questions they wanted to ask to the FFA members. Thank you to Mrs. Thornley, FFA members and their families for making this happen.










THANK YOU to everyone who came to our first PTO meeting of the year last night. We appreciate your support. We are looking forward to having our next meeting on November 7th.

Please join PTO tonight for our September meeting, Taco Salad Dinner, and Bingo. Come for 1 event or all 3. Bingo will be 2 cards for $10, each additional card will be $2. Meeting at 5:30, Dinner at 6:00, and Bingo starting at 6:30.

PINK-OUT Volleyball Shirts:
You are now able to purchase youth pink-out shirts. Youth shirts are $18 and will be light pink and not tie dye. The sizes are YS-YXL. Only youth shirts are light pick. All money is due by Wednesday, September 27th.
Students went on a special fishing trip to Hazel Hill Lake on Wednesday, September 20th. Students had a fantastic time!










The Lady Indians are selling volleyball t-shirts. One has their roster on the back, and the other is a pink out t-shirt. They have 5 more home games, including October 12th, their pink-out game night.
Shirt order forms and money need to be turned in to Vada.

A huge thank you to Mr. Hughes and the Art Club students for going to the Tractor Pull today to spray paint a hay bale for them for this weekend's show. You all are so talented! Thank you Mr. Hughes, Abby Dillon, Maddie Grant, Jahmie Conner, and Hailey Morris. You all did a fantastic job!



Thank you to Missouri Representative Roger Reedy for coming to Chilhowee to discuss government with our 5th, 6th, and 11th graders. Mr. Reedy came on Friday, September 1st. The students enjoyed hearing about how he became a Missouri Representative and learned about his job. They enjoyed interacting with him during question/answer time. Thank you for coming to our school. Our students loved having you.





JH Girls Basketball practice will be at 3:45PM-5:00PM tomorrow, Friday, September 22nd. After practice there will be a short parent meeting to discuss the upcoming season. Please try to attend if possible.
Thank you to Missouri Senator Denny Hoskins for coming to Chilhowee to discuss government with our 5th, 6th, and 11th graders. Mr. Hoskins came on Friday, September 15th. The students enjoyed hearing about how he became a part of the Missouri government, learned about his job and how bills are passed, and enjoyed interacting with him during question/answer time. Thank you for coming to our school. Our students loved having you.








The Chilhowee Cross Country Indians went to Lone Jack today. Congratulations to all of the runners!
