Last spring, students in grades 3-6 and members of Art Honor Society met with author Stephen Kozan and participated in a writing contest to select one student to become an author of his/her own book. Katarina Askew was selected and her book, Ghostly, is now available for pre-order, with books to be distributed the first week of February during another visit from Mr. Kozan. Students are bringing home order forms today to reserve a copy of this book. Contact Mrs. Iott for additional information.

Due to the forecast of poor weather and possible poor road conditions tomorrow night, some changes will occur for Courtwarming. Basketball games vs. Kingsville are, at the moment, still as scheduled. The dance and coronation have been postponed. Tomorrow is still Spirit Day.

Tomorrow evening, January 8th, the Chilhowee Parent Teacher Organization(PTO) will be meeting in the school library beginning at 5:45 p.m. All are welcome to join and bring ideas.
