12/17, Varsity basketball travels to play in the W K Shootout tonight at State Fair Community College. Lady Indians vs Windsor Lady Greyhounds 6:00PM. Indians vs La Monte Vikings 7:30PM. Bus departs at 4:15PM.

Due to the increase of COVID-19 cases, we will be postponing our Title 1 Meeting and Christmas Around the World for tomorrow (Thursday, December 16th) to either the first or second week in January. We will be sharing the new date by this Friday, so everyone knows when we are rescheduling it. We will send out another Google Form on Friday to know how many are planning to attend to order the right amount of pizza.

Preschool-Sixth grade students are invited to shop for family members at the PTO Christmas Store this Tuesday-Thursday from 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. on the stage. A PTO member or high school cadet will be available to help pick out gifts and get them in bags. Each item is $1 (no tax). Parents please send your child with a list of who they are shopping for (spelling helps us out a lot) and the amount of money they need for their purchases. If you are allowing them to purchase a treat for themselves please include that on your list.

Good morning parents and guardians, if you happen to hit a holiday sale this weekend, or if your second cousin is in town for Thanksgiving and is brave enough to hit the stores on Black Friday, please ask your second cousin to keep an eye out for a sale on water bottles. CHS has went through over 10,000 plastic cups. If students can please bring a water bottle, everyone can stay better hydrated and we won't have to line the pockets of the plastic cup industry. Have happy Thanksgiving!
Next week we will have school on Monday, November 22nd, and Tuesday, November 23rd like normal from 7:35 - 3:35. Wednesday, November 24th - Friday, November 26th is our Thanksgiving break, so school will be closed those days. Monday, November 29th, is our teacher in-service, so there will be no learning club and no school that day either.
