Congratulations to Jill Skidmore on being selected to represent the Johnson County Republican Women as their 2021 Breckenridge Scholar. Jill will be traveling to Jefferson City on April 6th. We are so proud of you Jill!

Chilhowee Indians and Lady Indians bring home District honors. Randy Binder (Senior), and Tanner Anstine (Junior) were named 1st Team All-District. This honor placed them as two of the top five players in districts. Lady Indian, Laney Owsley (Junior), was named 2nd Team All-District, voted the 6th best player in the girls district! Congratulations on your accomplishments!
Congratulations to Varsity Basketball players Randy Binder (Senior) and Laney Owsley (Junior) for being named Mid-State All-Conference for 2020-2021!
Attention: Current sophomores and juniors interested in attending the Warrensburg Area Career need to have signed applications into Mrs. Dillon by Tuesday, March 9th. Current Career Center students do not have to reapply, they just need to let Mrs. Dillon know if they still plan to attend.
Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) will be meeting in the school cafeteria at 5:15 p.m. this evening (March 2nd). We will be discussing spring fundraiser plans. We would love to see you there. Masks and social distancing will be required.
Update from Chilhowee R-IV regarding Close Contact Quarantines. Johnson County recently adopted the CDC's reduced quarantine guidance. Chilhowee R-IV will follow this guidance, which states that a close contact quarantined individual will be quarantined for 10 days rather than 14 if he/she exhibits no symptoms.
Monday, March 1, 2021-No School-No Learning Club
District Championship Game tonight! Chilhowee Indians vs Miami Eagles at Drexel High School. Game starts at 7:00PM, bus departs at 4:45PM. Reminder, early entrance is prohibited until the Girls Championship Game crowd has been purged from the facility and disinfecting has been completed.
Clarification-Spring Sports Pictures/Groups has been changed to Friday, March 12.
Help us cheer on our Indians tomorrow by wearing your red and white to school. We are so proud of these young men. Let's make sure they know it!
Spring Sports/Group Pictures has been changed to Friday, March 12. This will include Jr. High Basketball, Varsity Basketball, Cheerleading & Track, along with school groups.
2/26, Friday's Class 1 District 8 Championship Night at Drexel High School Information. There are no fan attendance limitations. Due to the Girls Championship game being played before the boys, no boys fans will be allowed to enter until the school has been purged and disinfected from the first game. All fans will sign in per health department guidelines for contact tracing, use hand sanitizer upon entrance, and wear of face masks are highly recommended. Physical distancing by family groups is encouraged. The game is scheduled for 7:00PM, but could be delayed depending on the game outcome and evacuation of the first games crowd and disinfecting processes. Please be patient so we can make this exciting event as safe as possible!
Friday, February 26-Spring Picture Day-Group Pictures and Sport Pictures. There is no individual spring pictures this year.
