4/28, JH Track wraps up their season tonight at Higginsville with the Husker Invitational. Field events start at 4:00pm and track events at 4:30pm. Bus departs at 2:00pm.
4/27, Varsity Track travels to Knob Noster tonight. Field events start at 4PM and track events to follow. Transportation departs immediately after VOTECH return at approx. 2:50PM.
Reminders for this week:
State Testing will wrap up this week. 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 8th grade students will be testing tomorrow (April 27th). Please get a good night's sleep and charge your chrome book if you have it at home.
Summer School Enrollment Forms need to be turned in by May 7th so we can have an accurate count for staffing and room arrangements. If you need another form please contact the school office or your child's teacher.
PTO School Carnival is this Saturday, May 1st from 11:00-2:00. Please see the images to see how you can help and all the fun you can have.
CHS-Monday, April 26, 2021-Distance Learning Day
4/23, Tonight's JH Track meet at Windsor is cancelled due to impending weather conditions. This track meet will not be rescheduled.
4/21, Varsity Track travels to Sherwood tonight. Field events start at 4PM and track events start at 4:30PM. Transportation departs at 2:45PM. Fans are encouraged to socially distance and wear masks when social distancing is not possible.
State Testing Information
Testing will occur this week on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (21st, 22nd, and 23rd) and again next week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday (27th, 28th, and 29th). 7-12 Virtual students please check in with your first hour teacher on all these days and then monitor your Google Classroom for assignments and communication. You will not have live lessons on these dates.
Reminder MAP and EOC testing begins this week. Please make sure your student brings their chrome book and charger to school with them tomorrow so we can ensure they are charged for testing Wednesday morning. Students (with the exception of Seniors) will not be bringing their chrome books home Tuesday evening.
Monday, April 19, 2021-Distance Learning Day
Sunday, April 18th, the first meeting for JH and Varsity football parents and players will be held at Crest Ridge High School at 2:00PM. As this will be the first Co-op meeting for the Crest Ridge and Chilhowee football partnership, it will be important for parents and players to attend to learn expectations, program plans, and summer activities for players. Your support will be critical to kick start this partnership. Please attend if possible.

Next week we will begin MAP and EOC testing. We have a plan in place here at school to make it all go smoothly, but we need your help. We are asking that you make sure your child brings their chrome book and charger to school with them on Tuesday. We will be keeping them here Tuesday afternoon and charging them for testing on Wednesday morning, April 21st. We appreciate your support!
The book fair is coming next week! All items are buy one, get one of equal or lesser value for free! If you are interested in making an appointment to come shop on Monday or if you want to shop a virtual book fair, please email Mrs. Askew at caskew@chilhowee.k12.mo.us. Parents are also welcome to come shop Tuesday and Thursday after school until 4:30. Please see the link below for class shopping times.

4/13, Varsity Track travels to Odessa tonight for the Wellington Napoleon Track Meet. Field events start at 4PM and track events start at 4:30PM. Transportation departs at 2:30PM. Fans are restricted to two per athlete and tickets will be required to enter. Masks will be required during the entire event.
Just a reminder Warrensburg School District will have three AMI-X days , Apr. 14-16.
There are no in-person classes at WACC.
Asmts./homework is posted to CANVAS. S's are expected to complete assigned work for those three days, tchrs will be reachable via CANVAS/email.
Juniors will be taking the ACT in the gym tomorrow beginning at 8:30 a.m. with Mrs. Dillon. Be sure to set those alarms so you are here and ready! Good luck Indians!
