Congratulations to Senior Tanner Anstine and Freshman Alexis Miller for being named to the Warrensburg Star Journal 2022 All-Johnson County Teams. Tanner earned a 1st team selection and Alexis earned a 2nd team selection.

Chilhowee Sophomores recently took a trip to the Warrensburg Area Career Center to see what programs they have to offer. Students were able to tour each different program and see what they looked like and meet with students and staff from those programs. Sophomores were given applications last week to apply to attend the Career Center next school year. These applications need to be returned to Mrs. Dillon by Wednesday, March 23rd. Juniors who did not attend this year but are still interested in attending may apply as well. Programs available are Automotive Service Technology, Automotive Collison Technology, Computer Sciences, Construction Technology, Health Sciences, and Business and Marketing. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.

Congratulations to our Laney Owsley for being named to the Class 1 District 9 All Conference Basketball Team for 2022. Laney is a Senior Point Guard that led her team to a 16-11 record, to include the 2021-2022 GVVC Conference Basketball Title! Way to go Laney!

Good morning!
Sophomore students will be traveling to Warrensburg Area Career Center (Votech) this Thursday, March 3rd. We will be leaving the school about 12:40 and returning prior to dismissal. Sophomores brought home a permission slip for this trip last Thursday. Please reach out to Mrs. Dillon if you need another slip or to give permission for your student to attend.

Join us at the school on Thursday, March 10th, from 5:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. for our annual Title 1 Meeting, PTO Sponsored Taco Dinner, and Science Night. Every classroom will have a science experiment for your child to see, and they will walk away with lots of experiments they can do at home. We look forward to seeing everyone there!
