Little Indian Basketball Camp is Wednesday from 5:30-7:00pm. Grades 2-6 are invited to come learn the game of basketball and fundamentals. Cost is $15 per participant and will earn a camp T-shirt. Varsity coaches and players will lead the camp. Gym cloths and gym shoes are required.

A valid Sports Physical is required to be on file prior to a student participating in any athletic program, that includes practices and competitions. The 2021-2022 fall season opens for High School on August 8th and Junior High on August 16th. Golden Valley Clinic in Clinton is offering FREE sports physicals starting July 1st! Attention: Juniors and Seniors If you are planning on participating in the School to Work program during the 2021-2022 school year, school to work handbooks are available in the school office. You may stop by and pick one up between 8:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. between now and June 30th. These must be turned in to Mrs. Dillon prior to you being able to leave for school to work in the fall. The Chilhowee R-IV School District is pleased to welcome our new Chilhowee Early Childhood Center preschool teacher, Mrs. Kerry Murphy, to our district. Mrs. Murphy taught Social Studies back in 2011 for a few years, and then became a stay-at-home mom to her two boys, Davis and Josiah. She has also watched other children in her home during that time. She is excited to begin teaching preschool this August, and we are so excited to have her in our district!

The 2021-2022 Lady Indians participated in the Hermitage 2-Day Basketball Shoot-out. The overnight event served as a team bonding experience and some quality basketball competitions. The Lady Indians finished 3-3 and had fun along the way. Special thanks to Chaperones Becky Skidmore, Deanna Owsley, Barb Stegner, and Darlene Buss for making everything go smoothly! #FamilyStrong
