Veteran's Day Celebration
The Indian Athletic Booster Club is meeting on Thursday, November 18th, at 7:30 p.m. in the school's cafeteria to discuss the concession stand and the 1,000 point club plaque. Please mark your calendars now to attend.
Please join us for our annual Title 1 parent meeting, along with our first ever Christmas Around the World event on Thursday, December 16th, from 5:30 - 7:00 p.m. at the school. We will start from 5:30 - 6:00 with free pizza and the meeting, and then from 6:00 - 7:00, students and parents will tour the different classrooms for their Christmas Around the World adventure. We hope to see everyone here!

Parents and Players please plan to join us Thursday evening, November 18th at 6:00 p.m. in the school cafeteria for our Fall Junior High Sports Awards. Junior High Volleyball, Junior Girls Basketball, and Junior High Boys Basketball will be honored.
Please join our Parent Teacher Organization in the school cafeteria tomorrow morning (November 6th) for a community breakfast. The PTO helps raise funds for the Wilma Hill Scholarship, field trips, classroom needs, Girls State, and school improvement projects.

Mr. Hughes and his art classes have been doing some pretty awesome art projects so far this year. Walking through the hallway it is interesting to see what the students have created. Each month Mr. Hughes sends out some of the top work to teachers to vote on and select the artists of the month. Please help us in congratulating September and October artists.
The Crest Ridge Youth Basketball League is forming now! Any students K-6 interested in playing youth basketball should register as soon as possible. The leagues will form in early November. Forms can be picked up from the main office or you can print the registration form shown!
Registration Open for 20-Hour Online Substitute Teacher Training: Chilhowee Community, as you may know, we are in need of additional substitute teachers. Due to the shortage of subs across the state, DESE is now offering a 20 hour training for those individuals who may lack the necessary college credit hours to become a sub. There will be a mandatory Player/Parent meeting for 9-12 Boys Varsity Basketball this Thursday night (10/28) at 6:00pm in the commons. Coach Grammer will go over team expectations, collect necessary paperwork and answer any questions for the upcoming season. Please attend if possible. Thank you!

10/25, JH Girls and JH Boys Basketball tonight at Round 1 of the GVVC Tournament, Ballard High School. Girls play at 4:30PM, Boys play at 5:30PM. Bus departs at 3:15PM. Both teams play the Sheldon Panthers.
10/22, Class 1 District 12 volleyball starts tonight for the Lady Indians at Crest Ridge. The first round will feature the Lakeland Lady Vikings (5) vs Chilhowee Lady Indians (4). Match starts at 5:00PM. Bus departure is 4:10PM. Best of luck at Districts!
10/22, JH Girls Basketball tonight. Lady Indians vs Lady Tigers at Kingsville, game starts at 5:30PM. The girls will be transported via the school van with a departure of 4:30PM.
10/22, Varsity Football travels to Tipton tonight for a 7:00PM game. Bus departure from Crest Ridge is 4:15PM. Varsity players will be transported via the school van to Crest Ridge immediately following school dismissal.
