The Missouri State pictures were created by our Missouri History students. They had to represent historical figures and landmarks. Government students created the Help Wanted Ads for a government official. World History students created a Medieval Village map, and Geography students created North/South Korea Informational Maps.

Parents and students attended the Christmas Around the World Title Night. After a short meeting parents and students had the opportunity to "travel" to different countries to learn how those countries celebrate Christmas. Students travelled to Mexico, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Australia, and Israel.

12/15, Chilhowee basketball travels to State Fair Community College tonight for the WK Shootout. Chilhowee vs Norborne, Girls play at 4:30pm and boys play at 6:00pm. Bus departs at 3:00pm. Admission cost is $8 for adults and children under the age of 12 are free.
K- 2nd-grade students made coffee filter Christmas ornaments for Mr. Hughes' Christmas tree in his classroom. We hope you enjoy looking at them as much as we do.
12/12, Varsity Basketball travels to Lakeland tonight. Lakeland vs Chilhowee, games start at 5:30PM. Bus departs at 4:10PM. Let's go Indians!
William D. Gordon Holiday Classic Basketball Tournament at Drexel, Dec 27-29, 2023.
The annual PTO Christmas Store is coming up on December 18th and 19th. For those new to the Christmas Store, PTO provides items that students can purchase for $1 a piece to gift to family and friends. Members of PTO and other helpers take of the wrapping as well. Please send a shopping list with your students so they know who they are shopping for and we know how to label the gifts. Students will be sent to the store and high school helpers will assist them in shopping.
The water is back on in the city of Chilhowee. The home game is a go as originally planned. Hope to see everyone out to cheer on our Chilhowee Indians tonight!
As of this time tonight's home game is still on. When we have any new information we will send an update. Thank you for patience.
Due to the water being shut off in the City of Chilhowee we will be dismissing students at 3:00 p.m. Buses will leave the parking lot at 3:00 p.m. and walkers will be dismissed at 3:05 p.m. Please call the school if you need to change how your students go home, otherwise we will follow their normal plan.

Two of our freshmen, Lauren Gardner and Kaylee Miller, (pictured on the far left) were recognized at Leeton's softball banquet last night. We co-op with Leeton for softball. Congratulations, girls on a great season.
A huge THANK YOU goes out to our amazing Athletic Director, Randy Buss. Randy is the most amazing human being ever and pours his heart and soul into our school's athletics program and our school. We couldn't do it without him! He spends countless hours scheduling games, officials, and transportation, as well as meeting with coaches, coaching Varsity Basketball, and countless other tasks he does day in and day out. We are so blessed to have him as part of our amazing school family and community. THANK YOU for all you do, Randy!
