
Our Junior Class hosted an alumni basketball game on Saturday, November 4th. Thank you for everyone who donated items, their time, and money to this event.











Geometry students learned how to set up and write proofs by playing some Uno!




On Friday, November 3rd, we had our 2nd assembly of the school year. We recognized our Votech, Junior High Boys and Girls Basketball teams, Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball teams, 1st Quarter Honor Roll students, October's Artists of the Month, and our Students of the Month. We played several games, including wrapping a student and then having them race each other, an elementary vs high school free throw contest, and musical chairs with trivia questions. It was a blast!

Congratulations to the following students for being selected for Artist of the Month for October! These students were recognized and selected by all teachers/staff members in the school based on the creativity, craftsmanship, and hard work they displayed in their artwork.


11/1, JH Basketball battles Leeton tonight at Home. Girls play at 5:30PM, Boys at 6:30PM, and two quarters of JH Boys B Team at 7:30PM.

Parents of Elementary Students, We will be starting our parade walk at 1:30 PM The temperature is very cold, but your student should be in layers. If you believe your student needs warmer clothing/jackets please bring them to the school before 1:30 PM

We had a big weekend! Mason cut some time this weekend and ended the season with a 20:37 time! Maddie did a wonderful job and ended the season with a PR of 30:35! It was a great end to our season and we are beyond proud of all of the kids that came out this season!







Veterans Day is coming up soon. We want to invite all veterans to our special school breakfast and assembly on Friday, November 10th. Breakfast will be served from 7:00-8:15 a.m., followed by a school-wide assembly in the gym at 8:20 a.m. Please invite every veteran you know so we can celebrate them on this day!


The Junior High Boys' Basketball Team took 3rd place tonight in the GVVC Tournament at Hume! Congratulations to all of the boys and Coach Mike Jenkins!!! We are so proud of you all.


10/27, JH Boys play for 3rd place today at Hume in the GVVC Tournament. Hume (5) vs Chilhowee (3). Game starts at 6:30pm, bus departs at 4:30pm.

Mrs. Thornley's class made topographic map models as part of their land management lesson in our Forestry Unit.

UCM Athletics Youth Day for Mules Football is November 4th, 1:00PM at the UCM Stadium. See flyer for the ticket information.


We will be participating in the School Store/School Mall fundraiser that we have done in the past. All students will receive information and will need to get at least 10 people to sign their forms. Once they have completed, they can get a prize. That information will be handed out in the next 2 weeks.


Thank you to Lauren Gardner and Elijah Powell for coming to our BOE meeting tonight to tell us about their science lessons and the Spooky Science lesson they did for Science Club last week. The board members enjoyed hearing about your cool science experiments in class and to see how the first science club went. We are so proud of you taking time out of your night to present this to us.
