The Lady Indians WON today's game against the Lady Hume Hornets, becoming the 2024-2025 GVVC Conference Tournament Champions! Awesome game, ladies and Coaches Buss and Warlen.

The Lady Indians head back to Montrose today (Saturday) for the GVVC Conference Basketball Championship game. Hume Lady Hornets (3) vs Chilhowee Lady Indians (1), 3:00pm.
Today, we also recognized our Girls' and Boys' Varsity Basketball players. Finally, we honored our excellent Math Teacher, Mrs. Brandy Powell, and her children with a whole school dance to "Don't You Forget About Me." This is the last student assembly they will participate in, as their family is moving away next month. This was our way of saying see you later to them. We wish the Powells success on their next journey. Thank you to Mrs. Powell for her hard work, dedication, and continued support of our Chilhowee students and community. You will be greatly missed!

Today's student assembly is one for the history books! We honored our Student of the Month Students, Axtin Lankford, Davis Murphy, Genevieve Dodson, Christian Musyoki, and Jahmie Conner, with certificates and a free drink, candy, and snack coupon and our Artists of the Month: Olivia Hornback, Delaney Honaker, and Scarlett Tomlin. Our students played a snowball toss game, musical chairs, and a faculty vs students knockout game. Even our School Resource Deputy, Deputy Medina, got in on all the fun!

Congratulations to the following students for being selected as the November Artists of the Month! These students were recognized and selected by all the teachers/staff members in the school based on the creativity, craftsmanship, and hard work they displayed in their artwork. Congratulations, Scarlett, Delaney, and Olivia!
