Yesterday we had a great visit with Susie from Country Crossroads. She brought her Corgi Coco along and the students enjoyed. Susie talked to 7th-12th graders about how to talk to their friends when their friends are struggling and coping skills for their bad days. It was a great visit and Susie asked that I share the following information with parents as well.

Our 3rd-grade students have been having a blast learning about equivalent fractions. They did many different donut activities last week to learn all about equivalent fractions. At the end of the lesson, they got to eat the donuts. Miss Franks is so creative with her hands-on mathematics lessons. These students will remember fractions for a long time.
