Veterans Day is coming up soon. We want to invite all veterans to our special school breakfast and assembly on Friday, November 10th. Breakfast will be served from 7:00-8:15 a.m., followed by a school-wide assembly in the gym at 8:20 a.m. Please invite every veteran you know so we can celebrate them on this day!
The Junior High Boys' Basketball Team took 3rd place tonight in the GVVC Tournament at Hume! Congratulations to all of the boys and Coach Mike Jenkins!!! We are so proud of you all.

We will be participating in the School Store/School Mall fundraiser that we have done in the past. All students will receive information and will need to get at least 10 people to sign their forms. Once they have completed, they can get a prize. That information will be handed out in the next 2 weeks.
Thank you to Lauren Gardner and Elijah Powell for coming to our BOE meeting tonight to tell us about their science lessons and the Spooky Science lesson they did for Science Club last week. The board members enjoyed hearing about your cool science experiments in class and to see how the first science club went. We are so proud of you taking time out of your night to present this to us.

The Chilhowee Junior High Boys lost their first match of the season against Miami-Amoret tonight.
The Chilhowee Junior High Lady Indians won their first game of the season tonight at Miami-Amoret. Great job ladies!
The Lady Indians battled and fell short tonight in the second round of volleyball districts losing to Appleton City 0-3. The Lady Indians finished the season as the 2023 GVVC Tournament Champs, posting a 20-12-1 record, the best season record dating as far back as the 2005 MSHSAA records show. Congratulations coaches and players on a great season! We are proud of you all!
Our first Science Club of the new school year was spooky! They did a Spooky Science experiment where the students were blindfolded and they had to touch various items to see if they could figure out what they were. They had a great time. Our next Science Club date is Wednesday, November 15th.
Lady Indians advance at the District Tournament with a 3-2 victory over Lincoln. They will now face Appleton City tomorrow, Oct 19th, at 5:00pm. Let's go Lady Indians!
