On July 9, 2025, Missouri Governor Mike Kehoe signed Senate Bill 68 into law, enacting a statewide ban on electronic communication devices beginning this 2025–26 academic year. The Indians and Lady Indian basketball teams would like to give a huge shout out to the Chilhowee Booster Club! They financed 40 new practice basketballs for High School /Junior High for the upcoming season.
One week to go for High School Fall Sports first practice on Aug 11th. Junior High Starts on Aug 18th. Friendly reminder, physicals are required, to include the MSHSAA Annual Preparticipation forms. A total of 4 forms is required to be on file at the school before participating in practices or contests.
Reminder this coming weekend, August 1st-3rd, is Missouri's sales tax holiday weekend.

August Fall Sports is fast approaching! As a reminder, each student must have a sports physical and MSHSAA preparticipation forms filed at the school prior to participation in practices or events.

Congratulations to the Girls' Varsity Track Team for receiving the MSHSAA Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award for having a GPA of 3.5 and above, and to the Boys' Varsity Track Team for receiving the MSHSAA Distinguished Scholastic Achievement Award for having a GPA of 3.0 to 3.49. Way to go!
