We are thrilled to welcome Hattie Wilson, our new Physical Education Teacher, to the Chilhowee family! She is excited to join us this August and looks forward to helping our students grow stronger and more confident through physical activity and teamwork.

We are very thankful that Sommer and Kayla from Johnson County 911 Dispatch were able to come and visit with our preschool, kindergarten and first grade students about what happens when someone calls 9-1-1 and when should someone call 9-1-1. Thank you ladies!

School carnival is happening now. Come to the school from now until 6pm for a fun time. We also have walking tacos and a drink for $5, a silent auction of various baskets, games, and BINGO.
Today, our very own Mrs. Annie Dillon was presented with the Central Missouri School Counselor 2025 Counselor of the Year award at our student assembly. Mrs. Dillon is an amazing counselor, and we are so blessed to have her at Chilhowee. Congratulations, Mrs. Dillon!
Thank you to Sarah from State Fair Community College for coming and presenting to our juniors and seniors about the different math pathways at the college level. She explained what math goes with, what career, about different types of classes and their benefits, and she answered all their questions.
