Back to School Bash will be Monday, August 12, 2019 from 4:30-6:30. Come see your classroom, drop off your supplies, and meet your teachers. Afterwards at 6:30 PM please join us for a JH & HS parent meeting regarding chromebooks and at 7 PM a parent athletic meeting.

Monday, August 6, and Tuesday, August 7, 2019 is open enrollment from 8 AM to 3 PM for any new students to the district.
The gym will be closed until July 11th due to the floor being refinished.

Reminder: The CHS Boys' Basketball Camp starts today, June 24, & runs through June 27. Camp will be held at the CHS gym at 5:30pm. Incoming 6th-12th grade Boys interested in playing basketball should attend. If there are any questions please contact Coach Donald or Coach Cawelti.
All incoming 6th-12th students participating in athletics will need a physical on file before their first practice. See the attached flyer about free physicals. Also, please remember to obtain a MSHSAA physical form from your coach or the school office before your physical.
The United Way is hosting a Community Meeting Thursday June 6th 6:30 pm in the School Library.
There will be a volleyball camp held July 22nd-25th from 9-11 AM for upcoming 4th Grade through 12th Grade.
Chilhowee Indians Athletics: This Sunday, May 2nd, there will be open gym (basketball) for incoming high school boys from 2pm-4pm. Following open gym there will be a parents meeting at 5pm. Summer weights will begin at 7:30am on Monday and will be held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at 7:30am and 6pm.
The Board has approved the RFP for night time Custodial Services. Interested companies can contact the district office for a copy of the RFP.

You are invited to the 7-12th grade academic awards ceremony on Tuesday evening, May 7th at 6:30pm in the Chilhowee Gym. Today (Friday, May 3rd) we will be sending letters home with the students who are receiving awards. Tonight, If you're child brings home a letter indicating that he/she will be receiving an award, we hope that you will join us on Tuesday evening to honor our students. Again, everyone is encouraged to attend to celebrate the accomplishments of CHS students regardless if your child is receiving an award.
