The regular board meeting occurred Wednesday night December 19, 2018. During the board meeting Mr. Marnholtz presented the financial information. The district started November with $1,190,421 in reserves. The revenues for the month were $132,536.78 and expenditures of $314,307.30. The end of the month balances were $1,008,650.60. The main expenses were the building project which the district paid $137,304 on items for the new addition.
Mr. Marnholtz updated the board on the building. The masons have been able to get work done with the mild weather this week., the brickwork should be completed by Friday the 21st. The interior work on drywall and insulation should also be completed the same day. The electricians are wrapping up the interior wiring as well. The projected finish should occur the last week of January.
The board Selected Brooke Stegner as the district representative for the John T. Belcher Scholarship for the Missouri School Boards Association.
The Board set January 16th @ 6:00 pm for the CSIP review meeting. The advisory group will review and discuss the district CSIP plan and provide recommendations for adjustments of the plan.
The Board discussed options for staffing for the 2019-2020 school year. The discussions centered around instructional supports for the district to help improve instruction. The board asked for potential job descriptions for the position. The board will review options at the next meeting.
The board held executive session to discuss legal issues and personnel.
The next board meeting is scheduled for January 16, 2019 @ 7:00 pm. The meeting will be in room 101 of the school.
